Will People Stop Traveling?

As a TraVerus Travel Agent, I have an ongoing interest in what travelers are thinking through out this economic slowdown. Are people still planning to travel the way they have in the past? The interest in traveling abroard still remains high. People love to travel! And international travel is still a very strong desire for people. It appears that this 7 trillion dollar industry of travel will still continue to grow!

An interestesting survey from the credit card company VISA, of 1000 people who had traveled outside the USA in the past 3 years, found that 66% were still considering traveling abroad, although they may travel a shorter distance than in the past. And those who said they would not be planning a vacation abroad in the next 12 months, were still interested in doing so in the future.

An additional segment to this survey by VISA were the questions on methods of booking travel. Nearly 60% of the people surveyed, said they would be using an online travel agency to book their upcoming international travel. This is great news for TraVerus Travel, on our way to becoming the number one travel agency for leisure travel in the world. ( 72% of those surveyed, stated that their reason for international travel was for leisure purposes.)

This is ongoing proof that people will continue to find a way to travel. And TraVerus Travel is here to assist those interested in booking travel online, or through one of our many Certified Travel Agents.

TraVerus is paying agents 75% of the travel commission for all travel booked on their personal website, which is nearly unheard of!! With an additional opportunity for lifetime residuals when sharing this opportunity with others. Those intersted can click here for more information on the TraVerus Travel home business opportunity.
